Meet the team at EduNex Training

EduNex strive to attract, recruit and retain talented, competent and committed people. We promote excellent performance through leadership and professional development.

EduNex Training has strict recruiting policies that are followed and maintained when hiring RTO staff including intensive interview procedures and reference checking.

Trainers and Assessors will be required to meet specific competency requirements to deliver training and assessment services and must agree in writing to EduNex Training Policies & Procedures at the time of induction.

All EduNex staff members are required to maintain the currency of their knowledge and skills relevant to the training and assessment being delivered or the role they perform.

 

Ahsan Zafar

CEO

Is an educationist and has completed a MBA, Masters in Economics and Masters in Business Information Systems, with over 20 years of managerial experience with exposure to education, retail, and consulting industries.

Ahsan continues operating as a successful entrepreneur in the Early Learning Industry for over seven years. Presently operating as service provider for five Early Learning and Kindergartens in Melbourne with multiple additional Early Learning projects in the pipe line for 2018 and 2019.

Ahsan is highly organised, pro-active, and an exceptionally quick learner with strong analytical skills. He possesses  strong leadership characteristics and high levels of attention to detail, meeting challenging situations and engineering creative solutions are core traits. Self-motivated, committed to work, leading by example and with exceptional people skills. These are core personality traits which facilitate team work and a healthy and congenial learning environment.

 

Marnie Gibson

General Manager

Marnie has a wealth of experience in Educational Management and Leadership for ELICOS, VET and Higher Education that extends over ten years. She has graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and various other qualifications. Before joining Edunex, Marnie has been the Director of Studies and Compliance Executive for prominent RTO's in Melbourne, overseeing entire RTO operations including the ability to build and lean strong high performing teams and commitment to the provision of excellence in student service and experiences, academic integrity and compliance and quality and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement.

Over the past 10 years of working in the Educational Sector, Marnie's major focus and responsibility was for the management, compliance and oversight of academic pathways programs inclusive of student services activities nationally across campuses and business teams of various organisations supporting the day to day administration, compliance, teaching strategies and academic curriculum, and training and assessment strategies. This involved recruiting and training staff, educational management and governance, timetabling classes, organising training and learning resources, providing academic support, mentoring new teachers and curriculum development, and compliance requirements and funding acquisitions through ASQA, TEQSA, HESG, SKILLS FIRST, NEAS CRICOS and the National Code 2018.

Over the past ten years, Marnie has managed over 500 teachers and 25,000 combined students for English, VET and Higher Education. Marnie provides direction, auditing and management expertise for the successful application of policies, procedures and proactive systems to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines as a Registered Training Organisation.

 

Jake Kaya

RTO Manager

Jake Kaya has joined the Edunex Team as RTO Manager with over 7 years’ experience in the Education Sector. He has extensive experience of the day to day operations of a busy RTO.

Jake began in the RTO VET Sector industry as a Trainer and Assessor in Security Operations and later moving into the RTO Administration and Support Services. Jakes strengths include Auditing and Compliance and supporting Students through their training experience and journey.

Jake has a n in-depth understanding of the operations of an RTO working for a very busy RTO managing the day to day operations and supporting the Students through their training experience and assisting Trainers ensuring the Student experience and Compliance standards are met. Jake brings wealth, knowledge and patience to the RTO Industry. His friendly and approachable nature made it very easy for Students and especially with the cohort of CRICOS International Students and Domestic Students.

 

Russell Heatherton

Russell has had the privilege of working within the Early Childhood and Children's Services industry for over 8 years. Russell has completed a CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC62015 Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management and TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Qualifications. Russell also holds First Aid Qualifications, including HLTAID006 in Advanced First Aid and CPR.

Russell has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the VET Sector and has supported and mentored Students completing their Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care for over 5 years within various RTO’s. Russell's passion is to see Students grow to their full potential through the development of a Student/Mentor relationship and through developing the skills and knowledge of adult Learners to deliver quality outcomes for our children.

Russell believes learning is a lifetime experience, as there is always something new or interesting to understand.  Russell states: “When a Student succeeds in any study task, it fills me with pride and achievement. It means they are reaching for their future success in whatever field they choose’.

 

Peter Lipenski

Business Development Officer

Peter joins the team at Edunex Training with a wealth of experience in assisting clients with their training needs.

He has an extensive background in business development with over 20 years’ experience in the training sector, including 12 years in the RTO industry.

Peter has developed enduring partnerships with a multitude of organisations at the Local, State and National level and is committed to delivering “the right” training solutions for these organisations.

Peter is highly ethical and holistic in his approach to the provision of training products and services to clientele both individuals and business.

Peter is passionate about learning and development and has embraced the significant changes and transformation of the training landscape over the past two decades.

Through his involvement on various Industry Forums, Peter ensures that he continues to keep abreast of the latest trends amd at times rapid but exciting changes with a focus on providing leading edge solutions to our Clients and Students.

 

Kelly Mutavdzija

Relationship Coordinator

Welcome to Edunex, my name is Kelly Mutavdzija I am Relationships Coordinator. I have been working in the Early Childhood and Education Industry for the last 10 years.

I have recently made the move to Training and Business Development with Edunex, I have a strong belief in quality training for all educators to encourage children to reach their potential in a caring and loving environment.

My key role is to ensure all new and existing students are well supported and to form strong relationships with Secondary Schools in Auspicing arrangements and support Early Learning Centres with Approved First Aid Courses and Certificate III and Diploma Courses in Early Childhood Education and Care and Professional Development opportunities
